“The Long Ridge School provides a wonderful education for children that thrive in an informal loosely structured environment. The music program is especially strong, with children learning to play recorder, dulcimer and handbells. The integrated curriculum ties together activities with music being about what is being studied. The dulcimers are even made by the students. Parents are very involved with the school, and if you don't know most of the parents by their first name, you are likely to know them at least by the first name of their students.”
